Fan Fiction Resources
Fan fiction has been one of my favorite hobbies for years. I've included here the sites
I like to use. There are several archives as well as some information sites.
Archives
Fanfiction.net
Probably the largest fanfic archive on the net. Though ease of use and quality have gone down,
it's still very active.
FicWad
A growing archive of original and fan fiction.
Lunaescence Archive
Nicely put together, another growing site.
Information Sites
Reference.com
A good site that includes an online dictionary and thesaurus.
Wikipedia
This is a good starting point for doing research or for finding quick facts. The
only caveat is that the content is user submitted, so it's not always accurate.
Mary Sue on Wikipedia
The Mary Sue entry on Wiki has a good summary of what a Sue is, some of its variants,
history, and links to more information.
The Universal Mary Sue Litmus Test
A good resource if you'd like test the sueishness of a character. Not all high scoring characters
are Sues, but it's a good tool when refining an OC.
RoughDraft
Richard Salsbury's wonderful (and free!) writing program. It's a great tool for writers, with
Rich Text Formatting and a side pane for saving notes in simple text.
